What is PMU?
Permanent Makeup (PMU) is the process in which sterile hypoallergenic cosmetic pigments are placed into the dermal layer of the skin using single use individual disposable sterile needles. PMU is not the same process as in conventional tattoos. PMU pigments will fade over time unlike conventional tattoos. We use different pigments for the face, unlike body ink. It is called permanent because even though it fades, particles remain in the skin. This is not to be confused with the misconception that "Permanent Makeup" means it will be visibly permanent forever. The areas to be treated are numbed using approved topical anesthetics to make your experience a comfortable & pleasant one.
The beauty of permanent makeup is that it offers you the ability to look and feel beautiful and confident 24/7--in the gym, in the pool, all the time! Even if you're struggling with patchy, sparse, scarred, misshapen, uneven, or nonexistent brows. Most women can benefit from permanent makeup. It lends the flexibility of regular makeup, allowing you to problem-shoot a small area (i.e. cover up scars, blend into your existing brow), or go the full extent and create an entire brow from scratch. It's an art, not a science!
Does it hurt?
The feeling of pain is very individual and different from customer to customer. However, we deliberately used local anesthesia, so that the pain, if any, is almost eliminated. We offer the possibility of an absolutely pain-free treatment.
What should I consider before treatment?
24 hours before: No alcoholic drinks, No caffeine, No pain Killers, No blood thinners (fish oils)
14 days before: No intensive sunbathing, No electrolysis
Preventing lip herpes: In case of very strong herpes sensitivity drug prescribed by the doctor. Herbal Prevention (about 7 days before appointment) Esberitox Tablets.
Do I pluck or shave eyebrows before the appointment?
No Please not! Do not shave! After your eyebrows are perfectly pre-drawn, microfine hairs are pigmented into their shape. The result should look as natural as possible. If hairs do not fit into the shape, they will be plucked or cut properly if they have grown too long. After the pigmentation has healed, you can easily stick to the pigmented shape and pluck your hair regrowth outside the shape. Get brow shaping every month to maintain perfect shape.
How long does it last?
Our permanent makeup is not a tattoo. This is a color pigmentation in the uppermost skin layer and keeps depending on skin condition, age, health condition, etc. in about 2 to 4 years. We recommend in between retouch to always ensure a fresh look. The prices for a retouch are based on time passed and can be requested at any time.
Do the colors trigger allergies?
Our colors are subject to a very high quality standard. We work with absolutely heavy metal free micro-pigment colors. Our colors are absolutely high quality in the field of permanent makeup!
Also suitable for men?
Of course! More and more men are filling their eyebrows, in a natural way without feminine momentum. A completely natural reconstruction is possible (after chemotherapy, accident ...) The lash enhancement is also very much in trend. Here, only the small gaps between the eyelashes are selectively filled with color in men to achieve more expression in the eyes.
Can I remove or change the colors or old permanent make-up?
We have various options and methods to remove or recover the color discoloration. Only after a consultation, we can tell you which method is suitable for you.
Why do eyebrows fade faster than eyelids and lips?
The eyebrows are in the T-zone, which is known to produce more sebum than the rest of the face. As a result, the skin renews faster and the color is degraded earlier. Here it lasts about 1 - 3 years. On light skin, the color fades faster than on darker skin. Since the lips do not produce sebum, a longer life is expected. The lash line is protected from UV radiation by the eyelashes, which means that in most cases the intensity is retained longer in most cases
